Thanks, Amy, for having me here on your blog
today. I love the play on names in your blog title. Very clever! And so true. I
could literally spend my life reading and be quite content. There are so many
books I’d like to read in my lifetime, it’s a little overwhelming. I can’t
possibly read them all before I kick the bucket!

But, I digress. Let me
stick to the subject: my most anticipated books for the remainder of the year!
stick to the subject: my most anticipated books for the remainder of the year!
That’s actually a really
difficult question for me. While I love to read, I haven’t been reading nearly
as much as I used to. Being a writer has stolen all my time, and I tend to work
ridiculously long hours. As a matter of fact, when we last went out of town for
a couple of days, what did I read? My own book. Yes! My own. Kinda pathetic,
huh?

That being said,
naturally, MY most anticipated books of the year are actually my own. I have
six completed novels and I’ve been slowly releasing them over the year—hence
this has been an exciting year for me! And not one wherein I’ve been current on
upcoming releases of new books. (Of course, I always read the newest Nicholas
Sparks novel; that’s a given!)

One of my books is a
paranormal romance entitled, Lancaster House. While some thought the ending was
perfect, others were begging me for a sequel—something I had not originally
planned to write. I knew where I wanted the story to go, it just didn’t fit
into the parameters of the first novel. Writing the sequel allowed me to finish
the story in the manner I had at first envisioned. The sequel is going to be
released in December 2012. I’m really looking forward to publishing this one! I
can’t wait for the rest of the story to be told. Hopefully, my clamoring readers
will be satisfied. Once I finished the sequel, I felt as though I could sleep
at night! It was a relief to feel as if the story was complete.

So . . . my most
anticipated book this year is, The Middle Aisle, the sequel to Lancaster House.

My
blog is the story of my path to publication. I’m not an expert by any means.
However, I’ve learned a lot in the process, and hopefully, what I share with
you will help you towards fulfilling your writing dreams. I’ll start at the
beginning and work my way to the present day. If you want to learn the entire
story, start at the first blog post! Otherwise, join at any time and enjoy the
ride! I write in all sub-genres of Romance: suspense, paranormal, and
contemporary. My novels are much like Forest’s box of chocolates: you never
know what you’re going to get. One thing is certain however, you will always
get a healthy dose of CLEAN Romance.
