Summer Reading List:
Catching up on 2018-2019
I know there are plenty of summer reading lists out there,
but hopefully this one brings something slightly different. A lot of my reader friends are teachers, and
it occurred to me that teachers don’t always use the summer to read the hot new
books. A lot of people use the summer to
catch up on the things they’ve missed during the year.
So, this list is for those people. The people who use those lazy, hazy days of
summer to stop and take a breath. To
catch up with the world from the past nine months and see what everyone has
been up to. To find out what the cool
kids have been reading. So, here’s a
list to get you all caught up:

2. Sadie by Courtney Summers
6. Girl,Stop Apologizing: A Shame-Free Plan for Embracing and Achieving Your Goals by
Rachel Hollis

7. TheUnhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
8. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
9. Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass) by Sarah J. Maas
10. Finale: A Caraval Novel by Stephanie Garber
12. The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff
I’m considering breaking this list down by genre, but we
will see how motivated I am. Those lazy,
hazy days of summer are contagious.
