From Me…
Of all of the highlander books, this is my least favorite. It’s not a bad book, and is some ways it’s quite enjoyable. For some, I can definitely see the dark fae being appealing for some. His mischievous and sarcastic demeanor can be intriguing. I could not get over the things we already knew about Adam. It’s not that I didn’t like him, especially as love transformed his surly attitude, but I couldn’t get quite as invested in him. I did like the idea that KMM chose to use a less than perfect man as the romantic interest.
